After School Care

Our After School Club runs 5 days per week from 3-6pm. We provide a safe, happy environment for children aged 5-13 years. We collect children from five Devonport schools - Devonport Primary, Stanley Bay Primary, St. Leo's School, Vauxhall School and AppleTree Education Centre.

We provide afternoon tea on arrival then children have a choice of activities in our hall, art-room and outdoor area.

Activities include arts and crafts, board games, lego, a reading library and sports either in our hall or outside. Of course hut making, discos, cooking and generally having fun may also be the order of the day.

Costs: Our standard rate is $17.00 per day until 6pm.
An early pick-up fee of $12.00 applies to children collected prior 4.30pm.
Family rates are also available.

We are a registered OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) Programme and a CYF's approved provider. Therefore, you may be eligible for an OSCAR/WINZ subsidy. For more information phone WINZ on 0800 559 009

In 2006 the programme won the OSCAR Foundations National Award for "Best Programme (under 50 children)".
